Hakan Özger ("we," "our," or "us") built Number Guess as a free-to-play, ad-supported game. This policy explains exactly what the app stores, what leaves your device, and why.
There is no registration. When you first open the app, a random identifier is generated and kept on your device — in the Keychain on iOS, and in the app's own backed-up settings on Android. That identifier is your account. We never ask for your email address, phone number or password, and we cannot link your play to your real identity.
A display name and an avatar that you pick yourself are shown to other players in quick match, on the open duel board, and to people you add as friends. Please do not put personal information in your display name — it is visible to strangers.
So that duels can work across two devices, the following is stored on our servers:
We do not access your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera. There is no chat in the app. Solo games are played entirely on your device and are only reported once they end.
The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier to deliver and measure them. On iOS, the system asks on first launch whether the app may track you across other companies' apps and websites. On Android, where the law requires it, Google's consent form asks the equivalent question before any ad is requested. Either way, declining still shows you ads — just less relevant ones. The one-time Remove Ads purchase turns banners and interstitials off; the optional rewarded videos, which you choose to watch for two extra guesses, stay.
Remove Ads is processed entirely by the store you installed from — Apple through the App Store, or Google through Google Play. We never see your card, billing address or store account details; we are told only whether the purchase applies.
You can delete everything from inside the app, without asking us:
Your identifier, display name and avatar; every game in your history and the statistics built from them; your friendships, friend requests and duel invitations; your friend code; and your push token. All of it is removed from our servers straight away, not queued for later.
Reports you have filed about other players are kept without you attached to them, because a report is about somebody else's conduct and deleting your account should not erase their record. Blocks you created are removed with the rest. Server request logs, which contain no account data, are discarded within 30 days. If you have bought Remove Ads, that purchase belongs to your App Store or Google Play account and is not ours to delete — it will still apply if you play again.
Uninstalling the app is not the same as deleting your data: on Android the identifier is included in the system backup and can come back with a restore. If you can no longer open the app and want your data erased, write to us at the address below and tell us your display name or friend code, and we will remove it.
Number Guess is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted on this page, so it is worth checking back occasionally.
