A secret code of all-different digits is waiting. Guess it; each guess tells you how many digits are in the right place and how many are right but in the wrong place.
How to play
- The code uses different digits and never starts with 0.
- A green dot is a right digit in the right place, a yellow dot a right digit in the wrong place. Dots are sorted, so they don't tell you which digit is which.
- You get 8, 10 or 12 guesses for 3, 4 or 5 digits.

Frequently asked questions
Is this the same game as Number Guess?
Yes, the rules and clues are the same as in the Number Guess app. The app adds duels against friends, also turn by turn.
Do I need an account?
No. The game runs in your browser; your scores are kept only on this device.
What does "codes still possible" mean?
It counts the codes that fit every clue so far. A good guess shrinks that number fast.
What other names does this game have?
Bulls and cows is also called cows and bulls, 4-digit number guessing or Guess 4; Mastermind is the colour version. Protocol 4 started out as Guess 4.
